Rainmakers donate relief items for Bohol quake victims

The Rainmakers Group is not all about work, fun, and games.  The group has recently shown that they are a group with a heart.  After Bohol was devastated by a very strong earthquake last tuesday, the Rainmakers decided to have an activity that somehow ease the difficulty of the earthquake victims of Bohol.  The group members decided to donate water, food, and even clothes for the relief operations in Bohol.  It is not much but it was our way of showing that we truly care.

Many of the Rainmakers have friends from Bohol and some members even have roots in the province.  Nezte Virtudazo has roots in Candijay and Maribojoc, Ariane Alejandro  is from San Miguel, and Carlo Olano grew up in Jagna.  The group is planning to support other activities that will help the quake victims.

Summer Night Outs

Being in the Rainmakers Group is not all about work.  We also know how to play and have fun.  Last summer, we had several memorable night outs and every member has his or her own story to tell. Here are top to things we learned about our night outs:

10. Tequila is probably the most popular drink just ask Clyde, Kerwin, Kim or Eng.
9. We love to play and reinvent games like consequence and rainmaker beerpong.
8. We have signature dance moves like Nezte's Friendly Dance and Ariane's Worm.
7. We make memorable quotes like " You don't do that to me! " or " I can't walk!"
6. The Bai waiters know us now.
5. Clyde pukes when he has too much. So does Yel.
4. Kim does not like coffee.
3. Jap never brings his gf in our night outs. Also Flo. ;)
2. Non-Rainmaker guests will always have a night to remember when they join us.
1. We always have funny stories to tell in the days after to the point that some meetings are wasted just talking about what happened in the last night out.

Rainmakers Retro: Fantastic Fridays with the Condo Group (April 2013)

As part of orienting the new group members about the different projects of Robinsons Land Corporation (RLC) in Cebu, the Rainmakers participated in one of the Investor's Nights of the Cebu projects of the Residential Buildings Division.  The event featured Amisa and Azalea Place, the two condominium projects of RLC in Cebu. It was held at the Summit Circle Hotel. 

It was very well organized and well attended event.  The Rainmakers were able to invite several guests to attend and learn more about the condo developments of RLC.  The new property associates were able to have glimpse on what goes on during events and how important it is to be able to attract prospects. The Rainmakers were also able mingle  with condo sales group and the RLC office staff.  Suzie Labrador was very helpful in making the Rainmakers feel at home during the Investor's Night as the event mainly featured from the other Robinsons Brands.

Among the Rainmakers who attended the event were GM Carlo, DM Flo, Sheila, Nezte, Cry-Cry, and Aliel.  Among the guests that who came, Mr. Ong (Cry-Cry's client) bought a subdivision lot at the Blue Coast Residences.   It was a productive and educational night for the team.

Rainmakers Team for Second Half of FY 2013

Last April, the Rainmakers were able to recruit new members of the team.  Thanks to the USC job fair, we were able to add a couple of new property associates from one of the most prestigious universities in Cebu.  While TJ moved to the inactive list along with Jane and Jelly. The new additions of the team were more then enough to make for the personnel that we lost.

The new members for the PAWAs were Aliel Kuizon, Nezte Virtudazo, Jap Fernan, Cry-Cry Ingente and Kim Yap. The 5 joined Arian, Rex, and Clyde. Glace Oncoy, political science cum laude graduate joined the PANAs for the summer. 

We started the new half with a meeting and site orientation.  The new group were toured to all our projects.  We first went to Aspen Heights then Blue Coast Residences and then we capped the site tour with a visit to Amisa.  

The start of the new half is very memorable as it was the start of one of the best 6-month performances of the Rainmakers Group.

Rainmakers join the STC 89's Run with Venus Fun Run

Last Sunday, some members of the Rainmakers Group led by Business Director Carlo Andrew Olano joined the Run with Venus Fun Run.  The fun run was organized by the Saint Theresa's College (STC) Batch 1989 which will be celebrating their 25th high school reunion next year. Joining the run were Rexcy Gimeno, Clyde Inso, Sheila Castro and Kerwin Raga.  The group were joined by Jessa Barbadillo and Ailyn Travero of Robinsons Land Corporation (RLC) Cebu Office.

It was the first fun run for Jessa while it was the group's first fun run in 4 months. The whole "Rainmakers Running Team" joined the 6k event.  There was a shorter 3k event but the group decided that they want to challenge themselves and tackle a more challenging distance.  Indeed it was very challenging as some of the team members were able to finish in over an hour.  The group had a great time in the post race program. Some were able to enjoy the countless of goodies and freebies offered in the several sponsor's booth. Some were able to pose in the free photo booth session.  BD Carlo won the best in Zumba (male) and he was able to bring home a gift certificate courtesy of Slimmer's World Cebu.

Rainmakers 2013 unveils new uniforms

The group recently unveiled their newest group uniform during the Robinsons Homes Cebu outing in Argao, Cebu. The new uniform is colored and has yellow trimmings.  It also has the logo of Robinsons Homes in the front while the team name is embroidered in the back.
