Robinsons Homes Cebu 2014 Christmas Party

One of the biggest Christmas events annually for the Rainmakers Group is the Robinsons Homes Christmas Party at the Summit Circle Hotel.  We have been part of it since 2010.  This year, the theme of the party is Black and White. The Rainmakers came in full force save for Kimberly Yap and the team really look different. The girls were lovely in their black and white dresses while the boys looked pogo as ever. BD Carlo Olano ended up being the emcee of the party.

One of the highlights for the Rainmakers is the dance competition where the RBabes of the Rainmakers won the presentation of the night.  Ariane, Lindaflor, Christie, and Geneva strutted to a medley of 2014's greatest dance hits. The judges led by Ms. Christine Santiago and Atty. Sarah Celino-Paderanga were impressed to make them the winner out of 5 presenting teams.  Team LandAsia, and Team Synergy sang while Team Flaminia and Team Dynamic had dance numbers.

It was a very enjoyable night and the team hopes to be once again in the forefront in 2015!

How to be a Rainmaker Tip No.1: Never be Lazy

There is a saying that "there are no ugly women, only lazy ones".  There are NO UGLY Rainmakers.  If you are ugly, most likely you are NOT a Rainmaker and if you are a Rainmaker, definitely you are not UGLY.

In sales, looks matter.  I am not saying that you have to look like Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt but if you can, then most likely you will be selling lots. As a Rainmaker, you have to invest in how you look. It is not because a Rainmaker is vain but because a Rainmaker is committed to give a client the best sales experience.  Wouldn't it be amazing if you were a client that you will be dealing with a pleasant looking person rather than be talking to someone who looks like a goon or a swindler?

It is vital that a Rainmaker must look good.  It is one of the few things that one can control. If you look good, you will feel good.  Plus, you will feel prepared. Looks should be one the first steps in your daily preparation.  A successful salesperson must possess several WOW factors to become a Rainmaker and one of the easiest is looks.  One of the quickest way to sabotage your looks is being lazy.  Being lazy to exercise, being lazy to get clothes that fit you, being lazy to comb your hair or being lazy to take a bath.

Starting today, you have to ask yourself these questions before you leave your house.

1. Am I happy with the way I look?
2. Do I look someone who can sell?
3. Does my face look credible?

Do not be lazy.  If you are lazy with your own looks, how much more lazy are you in the other aspects of being a Rainmaker? Never allow yourself to be lazy because it is the first requirement of being a Rainmaker.  Rainmakers are never lazy.  They are always prepared to close a sale early in the morning, late at night, or in the middle of nowhere.  We are in the business of attracting people.  We need to be attractive.  A Rainmaker should never take anything for granted.

Never be LAZY and you can be a true blue Rainmaker in no time. :)

Project Briefing for Robinsons Residential Building Projects

The new and old members of the Rainmakers Group attended the exclusive Project Orientation facilitated by Kari Doloricon of Robinsons Land Network Distribution Division.  Kari presented to the group the residential building projects of Robinsons Land Corporation (RLC).

Being our sister brand, our agents are encouraged to be knowledgable about the different projects of RLC even if it is outside our Robinsons Homes brand.  The property associates usually encounter prospects who would be ore interested in condominiums than our usual house and lot offerings. The project orientation is aimed to equip our agents the basic knowledge of RLC Cebu Condo projects so that they can properly assist and guide potential buyers.

The new PAs Julius, Christy, Linda Flor, and Genevieve were all present as well as most of our active property associates.  We were all able to learn a lot about Azalea and Amisa in our 45-minute session with Kari.

The group is now ready to include Amisa and Azalea as well as the future Maxilom project in our "inventory".  We are driven to help RLC reach its sales targets in the region.

Rainmakers Acquaintance Party 2014

As part of our preparation of a big year in 2015, the group has enlisted a few new recruits. We held an Acquaintance Party of the new members at Liv Super Club, one of the newest and hottest clubs in Cebu.

The group assembled past 10 pm and we all looked well dressed and ready to party. Julius, one of the new recruits was not able to come as he from Minglanilla and he has a wife and children already. Grace, our sponsor was also not able to attend because she attended a wake.  Present were a new lady recruits: Christy, Lindaflor, and Gen.

We drank, ate, and danced.  It is a great activity to bond and know each other better.  The other people who were there were GM Carlo, DM Flo, DM Joel, PA Clyde, PA Nezte, PA Ariane and her friend Yvie who might be joining the group in the next quarter.

With the way they danced and party, I am confident that this group will have a spectacular dance number in the coming Christmas Party. We really had a great and we are hoping to generate a lot of sales this quarter so that we will have more fun and enjoyable parties.
