SM Duty with the new Rainmakers

Finally, Ariane and Jill are on board.  They had their first taste of what it is like to have an exhibit at SM when the Rainmakers were subbing for the Cebu condo sales group. It was a memorable exhibit.  They were able to handle a Korean tourist who broke a glass table. They had a free dinner courtesy of Lego.  The first exhibit has been and we are looking forward to their first sales.

Road Trip to Argao, Cebu

One Sunday, Stephie wanted to check out Argao for their upcoming field trip. She asked Group Manager Carlo to accompany her.  Sheila and Kerwin volunteered to come as well along with some office mates of Stephie. We first checked out the Poblacion and took pictures outside the Argao Church and in the nearby park.  Then we went to the places were the famous Argao tablea, and Torta de Tuba are made.  After eating lunch, we spent an hour at Argao Nature Park.  We also went and took pictures  at the playground near the park. We are some snacks of kikiam, juice, and ice cream before heading to Mahayahay Beach.  For sure, the Rainmakers will have another Argao trip in the future.

Road Trip To Barili

Earlier this year, our group got an invitation from one of our first and beloved clients to their "vacation" home in Barili.  The town of Barili is 61 kilometers away from Cebu City. Joining the trip were Carlo Olano, Stephanie Olano, Kerwin Raga, Rodney Raga, and Sheila Castro.  We arrived at the Peckham's place past 12 noon and we were treated to a very sumptuous lunch. After enjoying the food and the view, we took several pictures.

On the way home, we checked the Molave Milk Station and tried their delicious ice cream. We also passed by a chicharon factory and bought some pork cracklings for our trip back home.  It was a very memorable day and hopefully we can do more trips soon.

2012 Sinulog Week Duty

One of the biggest events in Cebu is the Sinulog festival.  It is held every third Sunday January. Guests from all over the world flock to the Basilica Minore Del Santo Niño to pay homage to Cebu's patron the Senior Santo Niño.  The celebrations starts days before as many people attend the daily novena masses. On the feast day itself, a grand mardi gras is held.

For real estate agents, the Sinulog presents a great opportunity to make a sale as many balikbayans and tourists visit Cebu. All real estate developers make sure that their agents will be busy looking for prospects on that week. Robinsons Homes is no different as they set up an exhibit in SM City Cebu.  The agents of Rainmakers group braved the heavy traffic and great crowd to do their job during the busiest week in Cebu.
